Perhaps the match in the middle of the day will be the most balanced in terms of the strength of the teams. So right away you can’t single out a favorite here, at first glance. The French from Team Vitality want to comeback after the loss to MAD Lions, and Misfits Gaming after the loss to Excel. But which of these two equal teams will remain at the top in this meeting? And during the time with LEC Spring 2022, they also had time to play. So now the former G2 mid laner is doing his best for the French team.

Currently, Vitality are 5-5 in matches and play their role of “middle brother” quite consistently, offending those who are weaker and getting from those who are slightly stronger than them, with a few exceptions

And while their game looks quite worthy of the esports scene. Very good draft and working compositions along with proper teamwork. Problems arise only against strong teams, if they fail to carry out a maneuver - they get lost and often lose fights to zero.

Misfits Gaming Uniform

The top 3-4 team of the spring split has given up their positions quite well. Usually they are used to running on par with the same G2, Rogue, Fnatic in the group stage. But the beginning of this split was, to put it mildly, a disaster for them. Three defeats in a row from teams that are considered weaker and the fourth pocket from Rogue.

Nevertheless, the Misfits were able to pull themselves together and forcefully comeback immediately to a 5-4 score, taking a winstreak in 5 matches. However, yesterday the guys, like in the first week, again flew away from Excel, which makes their score 5-5.

As I thought it could be the aftermath of the Season of Champions patch, which dramatically changed the League of Legends meta and the MSF player took a little time to adapt.

Along with their rapid return to the middle of the standings, Misfits Gaming's game began to seem quite and well deserving of such a score. More than once they had to go over the head of strong teams, including Fnatic and G2. So the form of the players is now worthy.

Let's move on to the events of 5 weeks ago, the first game week of LEC Summer 2022, when the teams played the same rosters with each other:

The victory of the underdog represented by Team Vitality and again the defeat of Misfits Gaming. They met with another team nominally weaker than them and lost. A good pick from MSF, but a great game from mid-laner Perkz and roams of a low-mobility support with the help of a jungler did not give life to the opponent's mid-laner. Score 23:5 in favor of VIT in 28 minutes of play.

What I am leading all this analytics to is that both teams are equal. But if you pay attention to the details and the overall strength of the players, then I would even prefer Misfits Gamin. After all, they are able to perfectly win not only against weaker teams, but also top-tier teams, like MAD Lions, with whom Vitality has problems. Quite a risky match, but I would bet on the Misfits here myself.
