All callouts on the map Nuke in CS:GO

The map Nuke is a pretty popular location in CS:GO. It is way more popular on the professional scene because players prefer other default maps like Dust 2 and Mirage in matchmaking.

Nevertheless, Nuke is a pretty interesting location in terms of its structure because it consists of two levels and proposes many vertical gameplay elements. It is an advantage and a drawback of the map, which is due to the difficulty in understanding the key positions.

We continue our series of materials dedicated to the callouts on one or the other maps. The main focus is made on the spots regularly used by professional teams and players. Now, we will talk about the map Nuke covering all the key positions and spots, which should be known to improve communication with teammates in CSGO matches.

T-Spawn and Outside

We will use a little different approach. First, let’s talk about the positions players will face outside, starting from the T-Spawn.

  • T-Spawn: A place where the attacking side players spawn.
  • T Roof: It is a roof, on which you can climb from the T-Spawn and the lobby. You can jump onto a rock from here, or control the opponent's burst in pistol rounds.
  • Silo: It is a high pipe located near the roof. The position takes its name from CS 1.6, as there used to be a sheer cliff here.
  • T Red: The generalized name of the position, which is related to the red box outside.
  • Outside: The generalized name of the area located around the main nuclear block of the map Nuke.
  • Secret: The ladder that leads to the lower level of the nuclear block, in other words, the B site.
  • Garage: It is a big garage located near the entrance to the secret.
  • Blue: The generalized name of the positions, which is related to the blue box outside.
  • Small Box: A little cover, which is located in front of the entrance to the main near the blue box.
  • CT Box: A small remote box next to the CT Spawn. Usually, there is a defending sniper here, controlling the street.

CT-Spawn and A Plant

Now, it is time to talk about the territory surrounding the A site. There are enough positions thanks to the geometry of the map. Some of them appeared in the previous versions of Counter-Strike.

  • CT-Spawn: A place where the defensive side players spawn.
  • Hell: The area below heaven. It is the entry point for defense players to the nuclear block building.
  • Heaven: A small sheer area that is located the level above the A site.
  • Lockers: A small room that connects the main entrance and the stairs to heaven.
  • Main: The near entrance to the A site from the street.
  • Vent: It is a vent that leads from the A site to the lower level of the map.
  • Tetris: A set of small boxes at the A site, which allows you to climb on the hut.
  • Mustang: It represents a specific point on the upper tier of the A site. The position is located in the very corner opposite the exit from the hut.
  • Rafters: It denotes a small slope on the upper tier of the A site.
  • Hut: It is a small building, from where the attacking players go out to take the A plant.

Lobby and Ramp

The next important direction on the map Nuke is the exit to the B site through the ramp. There are standalone positions, each of which is a callout for one or other concrete spots.

  • Turn Pike: It is a room located between the main entrance and the ramp.
  • Stack: Small boxes located at the very extreme corner of the ramp closer to the exit.
  • Boost: A position that is located next to the exit of attack players from the tunnel. It is a set of boxes on which you can lift teammates.
  • Big Box: It is a big box located in front of the descent to the ramp of the B site.
  • Ramp: The generalized name of the descent to the B site.
  • HS: The box located at the rear of the ramp
  • Lobby: It is an open space connecting several other positions to reach the A site or ramp.
  • Squeaky: A small area next to the lobby, closed by a door.
  • Radio: The first room that leads to the ramp from the lobby.
  • Trophy: The room next to the radio. It got its name due to the number of trophies behind the glass.
  • Control: The last room leading to the ramp.

B Cross and B Plant

Now, let’s talk about the B site and the positions surrounding it. We will also check the key spots at the lower tier of the map.

  • Tunnels: It is a set of narrow corridors located after the descent to the secret.
  • Vents: The ventilation shaft connects the rise to the A site and the tunnels in both directions.
  • Back Vents: The far left passage along the ventilation shaft leading to the decon.
  • Decon: A small room located on the descent after the back vents. Here is a door that opens the way to the B site.
  • Doors: The second entrance to the B site that leads from the tunnels.
  • Window: It is a small room covered with glass. It is located just above the double doors.
  • Dark: A small cover behind a crate at the extreme point of the B site.
  • Toxic: It is a conventional designation of the place for the installation of C4. It is located in the upper left corner of the B site, almost at the exit from the ramp.
  • B Default Plant: It is a standard installation spot of C4. It is located in the far part of the B site behind the reactor.
  • Bottom Ramp: It represents two exits to the B site from the side of the ramp.
