Breakout is generating significant anticipation, promising some of the most impactful balance changes in Apex Legends' history, notably the removal of Shield Swapping. Observant players scrutinized the trailer and identified a pivotal element in the closing seconds – the appearance of the legend Horizon.

The Apex Legends Breakout launch trailer featured an intriguing reference to Titanfall 2's Time Gauntlet. For those unfamiliar, Apex Legends serves as the sequel to Titanfall 2, celebrated for its dynamic movement, engaging gunplay, and an exceptional campaign featuring combat mechs called Titans. In Breakout's trailer, a device resembling Titanfall 2's 'Time Gauntlet' was encased in a glass pedestal, immediately sparking recognition among Titanfall 2 fans.
