NAVI and Akuma will play in the same group at IEM Fall 2021 CIS

The NAVI team recognized their rivals in the IEM Fall 2021 CIS group stage. Born to Win fell into the same group as Akuma, Spirit, Entropiq, Nemiga and AVE. Thus, NAVI will have a chance to take revenge on the Ukrainian team for a crushing defeat in the framework of the spring EPIC CIS League Spring 2021.
Group B will now lead the TOP-2 of the world rating. At the same time, Virtus.pro, forZe, Unique, K23 and INDA IRAE also got into the company to Gambit.
IEM Fall 2021 CIS format
Two teams from each group will advance to the playoffs of the championship. All group stage matches will be played in BO1 format, with each team playing in a group of five matches, following the "Round-robin" algorithm. It is expected that each team will hold two BO1s a day.
The teams that took 3 places in each group will play in the match for the 5th place. The usual BO3 format will return to the playoffs of the tournament. All teams will start their journey from the semi-final stage. The teams that lost their meetings will have the opportunity to play in the match for the 3rd place in the championship. The Grand Final will be held in BO5 format without handicap.
Recall that IEM Fall 2021 CIS will be held online from September 29 to October 3. 12 teams will compete for a prize pool of $ 50,000, as well as precious RMR points.
