Brazilian team FURIA outplayed Entropiq with a score of 2: 1 and advanced to the playoffs of PGL Major Stockholm 2021. At the same time, Team Liquid left the championship, losing to FaZe Clan.

The battle for a place in the playoffs of PGL Major Stockholm 2021 started on the Vertigo map, which became the choice of the Russian team. However, the Brazilians got into the game too quickly, literally trampling Entropiq in both halves - 16: 6.

Nevertheless, on the Nuke map, the intrigue returned to the game, as the Russian team, having played well in defense, started off with shock in the second half. At the same time, the Brazilians themselves did nothing in defense, having managed to take only one round for the side - 16: 8.

Everything was decided on the Ancient map, which began with another pistol round won by Entropiq. However, the Brazilians woke up too quickly to seize the initiative and get ahead. Nevertheless, the Russian team found the strength to close the gap before the changeover - 9: 6. And yet, in the second half, FURIA showed an impressive attack, literally tearing up the opponent - 16:12.

FaZe Clan - Liquid

FaZe Clan and Liquid met in the elimination match with PGL Major Stockholm 2021. The choice of the North American team was the Inferno map, where FaZe Clan began to impose its game from the very start. At the same time, even after the change of sides, Liquid failed to wake up, finally losing the thread of the game - 16: 8.

Next, the teams got to the Mirage map, which is traditionally strong for the North Americans. At the same time, Liquid played a good half in defense, gaining an advantage, albeit a small one. At some point, the North American team could even compare the score in the series. However, FaZe Clan players turned on in full to get back into the game and bring the map to overtime. At the same time, a series of successful rounds from the Europeans made it possible not only to take their own pick, but also to knock Liquid out of the tournament - 22:19.

Note that for FaZe Clan the championship will continue tomorrow, November 2. The European team will play for the right to enter the playoffs.

PGL Major Stockholm 2021 runs from October 26 to November 7 in Sweden. 24 teams are competing for a prize pool of $ 2,000,000, as well as BLAST Premier and ESL Pro Tour points. The championship playoffs will take place at the Avicii Arena with spectators, while the early stages of the championship take place in a studio format.
