BLAST Premier: Fall Finals 2022 will return to Copenhagen
Tournament operator BLAST has announced that BLAST Premier: Fall Finals 2022 will once again take place in Copenhagen at the Royal Arena. The championship, which will take place from November 23 to 27, will offer participants a prize pool of $425,000, ranking points already familiar to us, as well as a slot for the winner at BLAST Premier: World Final 2022.
Denmark is home to BLAST, while the Royal Arena has been synonymous with some of the most famous and iconic moments in Counter-Strike over the years. We welcomed a record 25,000 fans throughout last year's Fall Finals and we can't wait to get back to the arena later this year for our fifth BLAST event at this location. Last year's show showed that BLAST has raised the bar in what is achievable for esports production and fan experience, we are excited to push that standard even further in November.
It should be noted that this will be the fifth time that BLAST will hold a tournament on this site, after last year's Fall Finals, the champion of which was Natus Vincere.
Unlike the previous year, only two of the five days will be played in front of a live audience at the Royal Arena with a capacity of 12,000, compared to three days last year.
A total of eight teams will compete in BLAST Premier: Fall Finals 2022 in the same format as currently used in the spring season. Six partner teams will qualify directly from the group stage and the last two will be found through the Fall Showdown where a mixture of partner and non-partner teams will have a chance to earn their slot at the event.
