Teams MOUZ NXT and Spirit Academy will play in the same group at WePlay Academy League Season 4 - the results of the draw for the group stage of the championship are presented. The relevant information appeared on the tournament page on the Liquipedia portal.
The fourth season of the WePlay Academy League will take place online, while the list of participants has been expanded to fourteen teams, which will compete for a prize pool of $100,000.
The championship will be held in three stages:
- Group stage: May 24 - June 6 (replays possible on June 7);
- Play-In: June 9-12;
- Playoffs: June 24-26.
The final stage of WePlay Academy League Season 4 will also be held online. The main requirement for participating teams is a minimum of 4 players under the age of 21.
Group A:
- MOUZ NXT, 00 Prospects, OG Academy, Fnatic Rising, Spirit Academy, Eternal Fire Academy and GODSENT Academy.
Group B:
- Astralis Talent, BIG Academy, NAVI Junior, Outlaws, Young Ninjas, Apeks Rebels and FURIA Academy.
The group stage of WePlay Academy League Season 4 will be held in a round robin format with BO1 matches. While the best teams from each group will proceed to the finals, the teams that take places from 2nd to 6th will advance to the Play-In, where they will compete for the two remaining slots in the season finals. In turn, the worst teams from each group will leave the championship.
Official broadcasts of WePlay Academy League Season 4 matches will be held in English and Ukrainian on the studio's official channels. Matches in Russian can be watched on the SL4M channel.
