nexa, who is the captain of OG, announced that mantuu will return to the team at the upcoming Roobet Cup 2022. The 25-year-old Serbian esportsman spoke about this in an interview for the Blix portal. During the conversation, nexa also shared his thoughts on the team's prospects for future championships.
Probably, in the near future, OG will not be able to claim trophies. We can say that we have a honeymoon or we just have nothing to lose. But, of course, we want to become contenders for trophies. When we get to this level is only a matter of time. I would say that in NEOFRAG and F1KU we found the missing pieces of the puzzle. In this tournament, they performed just fine. In addition, with the arrival of new players, flameZ has finally thrown off the burden of responsibility that he could not cope with himself - now he plays more freely and stronger.
mantuu will return to the roster for the next tournament. Degster was fun to play with, he brought a lot of positive energy to the team. Other than that, he's just a confident sniper who's willing to take the lead. Of course, he also needs a lot of space, but I feel comfortable working with such a player - I think we have a great duo in this tournament: I gave him space, and he repaid me with what he does best on the server - killing opponents.
Recall that mantuu missed BLAST Premier: Spring Finals 2022 due to illness. The place of the Polish sniper was taken by degster, with whom the OG team reached the semi-finals.
The European team will perform in the same group at Roobet Cup 2022 with FaZe Clan, BIG and Entropiq.
Roobet Cup 2022 will be held online from 22 to 30 June. As part of the championship, sixteen participants from Europe, the CIS, North and South America will compete for a prize pool of $250,000.
