Eight teams will make their way from the Play-In stage to the group stage (four from the upper bracket and four from the lower bracket). Eight teams will definitely play in the group stage of IEM Cologne 2022: FaZe Clan, Natus Vincere, G2 Esports, FURIA Esports, Cloud9, ENCE, Ninjas in Pajamas and Team Liquid. It should be noted that the presented teams scored the required number of points in the previous championships of the Intel Extreme Masters Season series.
