Tournament operator Relog Media, responsible for organizing and holding the Roobet Cup 2022, spoke about the unexpected rollback of the round in the recent match between Imperial and MOUZ. The organizers said they have not yet completed the investigation, but are leaning towards the option of a mechanical error, although they do not rule out a human factor in the problem.
In a statement, the tournament operator said that, lately, it has found many problems in the technical component of matches that have appeared since the last patch.
However, Relog Media is also working on a possible human error version. The tournament operator stated that he spoke to the administrators in charge of the match and they maintained their innocence.
These guys have worked with us in the past, without any incident, they are both well established, regardless of the fact that they are not officially part of Relog Media.
The organizers stressed that they will continue to investigate the case, and, if new evidence is found, they will again turn to the community. At the same time, Imperial and MOUZ did not object to the incident.
Roobet Cup 2022 runs from June 22 to 30 online. As part of the championship, sixteen participants from Europe, the CIS, North and South America are fighting for a prize pool of $250,000.
