The first semi-final of group A started on the Overpass map, which became the choice of the Swedish team. However, NIP soon regretted their decision to pick this particular card, as the team was faced with a tough defense from the opponent. In turn, NAVI clearly prepared for the opponent, allowing him to win only two rounds in the first half. Well, after the change of sides, "Born to Win" did not allow the Swedes to return to the game, having issued a very confident victory on the first map — 16:3.
Next, the teams moved to the Nuke map, which turned out to be the choice of NAVI. At the same time, the start of the map again remained with the "Born to Win", which, as it seemed, tried again to resolve all issues in advance. And yet, by the end of the half, NIP managed to join the game in order to reduce the backlog to a minimum. Well, after the change of sides, NAVI left almost no chance for the opponent, bringing the matter to a natural victory in the series — 16:7.
It should be noted that within the framework of the duel, "Born to Win" won four out of four pistol rounds, naturally defeating NIP.
