The duel between Team Liquid and 00NATION started on the Overpass map, which became the choice of the Brazilian team. However, the North Americans from the start showed a desire to win, closing the first half with a score of 11:4. After switching sides, the teams failed to determine the strongest, once again moving to overtime. And yet here Team Liquid managed to get their own, equalizing the score in the series — 19:16.
Everything was decided on the map Ancient, the first half of which ended with a twofold advantage in favor of the North American team. However, after the side switch, the 00NATION players could not return, while Team Liquid quickly reached the required number of rounds, knocking out the opponent from the championship — 16:8.
Note that a little earlier, the Outsiders team lost to FURIA with a score of 0:2 and left IEM Cologne 2022.
