In a few hours, the IEM Cologne 2022 playoffs will start. Until Sunday, July 17, the remaining six participants will close the first half of the 2022 season and determine the strongest. Not only reputation is at stake, but also a solid prize of $400,000. In addition, for the first time, two teams are playing on a large arena, so it will be interesting to watch the performances of Movistar Riders and Mouz.
IEM Cologne 2022 playoff participants
The main favorites of this stage of the championship are the teams NaVi and FaZe Clan, who performed without problems at the group stage, making it straight to the semi-finals. They will be accompanied at LANXESS arena by the aforementioned Movistar Riders and MOUZ, as well as Team Liquid and Astralis, once serious fighters with great experience.

Note that all tickets for the final part of the event were sold out. This means that the LANXESS arena, which can accommodate 19.5 thousand spectators, will have an incredible atmosphere.
An interesting observation: Only two teams from the TOP-10 of the world ranking, NAVI and FaZe Clan, made it to the playoffs of IEM Cologne 2022. The remaining four teams, namely MOUZ (14th line), Movistar Riders (13th line), Astralis (11th line) and Team Liquid (17th line) are outside the top ten.
