In an interview for the club's YouTube channel, the 25-year-old esportsman spoke negatively about the team's results in the championship. However, chopper noted that the losses will also help the team work on the bugs in the future.
This is a good tournament in the sense that we saw a lot of things to work on both in terms of game and mentally. There were good moments. It is worth noting my teammates. Each of them played great on many maps. I will note w0nderful separately, because he quickly adapts and learns some new topics, new tricks. He gets better with every game. I am pleased to see that he is getting better as a player.
Of course, relegation is a bad result. This is probably my worst championship this year in terms of not only the shooting unit, but also in terms of the captain and leader. There are a lot of things that I need to work on. I will try to improve and fix everything. In the game with Vitality we left 0:2, but I understood a lot of things for myself. I understood what to do and so on. Even though we lost, we did a great job. There just wasn't enough.
Recall that the "dragons" took fourth place in group A. According to the results of the group stage, Team Spirit got two wins (Endpoint - 2:1; Ninjas in Pyjamas - 2:0), but suffered three defeats (NAVI - 0: 2; fnatic - 0:2; Vitality - 0:2).
The next championship for the team will be Intel Extreme Masters Road to Rio 2022: European RMR A, which will be held in early October.
