The last meetings of group C at ESL Pro League Season 16 have ended, as a result of which the teams MOUZ, Heroic and Complexity advanced to the championship playoffs. We tell the path of the teams at the group stage and get acquainted with the final table of group C.
MOUZ (4 wins and 1 loss - first place)
Team MOUZ became the winner of group C, having outplayed Heroic (2:0), ENCE (2:0), Complexity (2:1) and HEET (2:1). With 12 points, the "mouse" overtook Heroic in the table thanks to the victory in the full-time confrontation, and at the same time directly got into the quarterfinals of the competition.
Heroic (4 wins and 1 loss - second place)
The group stage for the Danish team began with a defeat from MOUZ (0:2), which decided the fate of Heroic in the race for the first line. But thanks to further victories over ENCE (2:0), Complexity (2:0), HEET (2:1) and Astralis (2:1), Xizt's wards managed to take the final second place in group C.
Complexity (3 wins and 2 losses - third place)
The North American team became a revelation of the sextet, as they got victories over Astralis (2:1), HEET (2:0) and ENCE (2:0). Despite the defeats from MOUZ (1:2) and Heroic (0:2), Complexity managed to score 9 points and get into the playoffs of ESL Pro League Season 16.
Astralis (2 wins and 3 losses - fourth place)
The main disappointment of group C was the Danish team Astralis, which, despite victories over MOUZ (2:0) and ENCE (2:0), lost to Complexity (1:2), HEET (1:2) and Heroic (1:2), remaining without participation in the playoffs.
ENCE (1 win and 4 losses - fifth place)
No less annoying was the run of the ENCE team, which, starting with a confident victory over HEET (2:0), managed to lose four meetings in a row against Heroic (0:2), MOUZ (0:2), Astralis (0:2) and Complexity (0:2). And yet, thanks to the victory over the French, the wards of sAw remained on the fifth final line.
HEET (1 win and 4 losses - sixth place)
The worst member of group C was the HEET team, which, despite the victory over Astralis (2:1), lost to ENCE (0:2), Complexity (0:2), Heroic (1:2) and MOUZ (1:2).
