Complexity, 9z, Evil Geniuses and Team Liquid will compete for a slot in the “legends” of IEM Rio Major 2022

The first game day of IEM Road to Rio 2022 American RMR has ended, as a result of which the teams Complexity, 9z , Evil Geniuses and Team Liquid remained in the fight for a slot in the "legends" of the upcoming IEM Rio Major 2022. At the same time, Team oNe eSports, ARCTIC, Isurus and Infinity suffered a second defeat, thanks to which they hung in the balance from being eliminated from the RMR tournament. Second round of IEM Road to Rio 2022 American RMR

The second round of the championship started with confrontations between the favorites. However, sensations happened here, as Evil Geniuses unexpectedly outplayed FURIA (16:14), while 9z made a comeback on the Nuke map and crushed Imperial Esports (22:20). Next, Complexity confidently dealt with paiN Gaming (16:7), just as Team Liquid managed to cope with the Brazilians from MIBR (19:16).

There were no sensations in the lower basket. While ATK confidently coped with ARCTIC (16:11), Nouns Esports inflicted another devastating defeat on Infinity (16:2). Well, in the final set of matches, the Brazilian teams 00NATION and O PLANO got confident victories over Isurus (16:10) and Team oNe eSports (16:10), respectively.
