FalleN: "Honestly, I'm planning on playing for another year"

FalleN, sniper and captain of Imperial Esports , shared his thoughts on continuing his career in a post-match interview at IEM Rio Major 2022. According to the 31-year-old Brazilian, he will stay next season, but is likely to leave the scene in 2023 because he wants to do other things.

Hi all. Yes, the series was very tense. Both cards were in our hands, so when you lose those matches it's very hard because we feel we deserve to win. But at the same time, every match is thought out to the smallest detail. There were a couple of details that did not work out the way it was intended.

I'm proud of how the team played today. We played much better than the previous day. And I think that if we had shown such a game in another match, we would not have found ourselves in a similar situation.

To be honest, I plan to play another year, because when I wanted to create this team, a lot was moved. And when I make commitments, I really want to fulfill them. A lot of people think that I should play another year. But from a personal point of view, I believe that I should be doing other things in my life. Now I'm at a stage in my life where I want to do other things.

Recall that the Brazilian team Imperial Esports took the last place at the end of IEM Rio Major 2022. During the championship, the team suffered three defeats from Vitality (9:16), 9z (11:16) and Cloud9 (0:2).

IEM Rio Major 2022 takes place from October 31 to November 13 in Brazil at the Jeunesse Arena and at the Riocentro convention center. As part of the championship, 24 teams from the CIS, Europe, North and South America, and Asia are fighting for a total prize pool of $1,250,000, ranking points in the BLAST Premier table, as well as tickets to BLAST Premier: World Final 2022 and IEM Katowice 2023 for the winner.
