zonic on Vitality's launch at IEM Rio Major 2022: "You just need to find a way out of this situation"
zonic, head coach of Vitality , explained the weak start of his team at IEM Rio Major 2022. According to the 36-year-old Danish specialist, the team is experiencing problems with pressure. In addition, the coach noticed that Vitality's once strong points stopped working, but the team must deal with this situation in the future.
We tried to relieve ourselves of this pressure, but it had a bad effect on us. We don't feel like the best team in the world. To reach this level, we need a little more time. It's hard to pinpoint exactly what's going wrong. It seems like all of our strengths that made Vitality stand out lately have been downgraded by 10%. I mean individual skills and team play. You just need to find a way out of this situation.
It all comes down to mental toughness. I think that at the RMR tournament, and especially at the EPL, we showed that this is one of our strengths. Whoever faces us in the Legends match, it will be a tough match for us. On the other hand, it will also be difficult for the opponent to play against ZywOo, Spinx and Magisk. We need to remember that we are a good team. Not the best in the world, as we are now in second place in the ranking, but just very strong. Always remember your strength.
Recall that the Vitality team continues its performance at the IEM Rio Major 2022 Challengers Stage. During the tournament, the Danish-French team beat Imperial Esports (16:9) and Grayhound Gaming (2:0), but at the same time lost to GamerLegion (10:16) and Outsiders (12:16). Now the wards of zonic will meet in the fifth round with OG, where they will compete for a place in the "legends" of the major.

IEM Rio Major 2022 takes place from October 31 to November 13 in Brazil at the Jeunesse Arena and at the Riocentro convention center.
