Heroic, Outsiders and fnatic advance to IEM Rio Major 2022 playoffs

The fourth round of IEM Rio Major 2022 Legends Stage has come to an end, as a result of which the teams Heroic , Outsiders and fnatic made it to the playoffs. At the same time, the teams Sprout, Vitality and Bad News Eagles suffered their third defeat, which is why they were eliminated from the championship. Well, according to tradition, we propose to sum up the results of the last round and present the intermediate table of the championship.

Fourth round of IEM Rio Major 2022 Legends Stage

The game day began with a rather confident victory of Natus Vincere over Bad News Eagles (2:0), thereby writing out tickets to the airport for the Kosovars. At the same time, the Outsiders team coped with MOUZ without a chance (2:0), thanks to which they made it to the playoffs of the competition. In the next portion of matches, ENCE sensationally defeated Team Vitality (2:0), eliminating ZywOo and the company from the tournament. At the same time, fnatic turned out to be stronger than BIG (2:0), making it to the quarterfinals. Already at night, Team Spirit outplayed Sprout (2:0) and made it to the fifth round of the event, just as Heroic managed to cope with Team Liquid (2:1) and advanced to the playoffs of IEM Rio Major 2022.

IEM Rio Major 2022 takes place from October 31 to November 13 in Brazil at the Jeunesse Arena and at the Riocentro convention center. As part of the championship, 24 teams from the CIS, Europe, North and South America, and Asia are fighting for a total prize pool of $1,250,000, ranking points in the BLAST Premier table, as well as tickets to BLAST Premier: World Final 2022 and IEM Katowice 2023 for the winner.
