Representatives of the pro-scene made a wish list for Valve

Tournament operator ESL presented an interesting activation as part of IEM Rio Major 2022, where the participants of the championship made a wish list for Valve . While some professional players wished to make changes to the competitive map pool, a number of commentators and coaches highlighted other things that they would like to see from a developer in CS:GO .

cadiaN (Captain Heroic): Remove the sound of the grenade's pins coming off. Normal level 4 players on FACEIT won't understand what I'm talking about, but you can hear when someone is about to throw a grenade. This allows you to dodge flash grenades and breaks strategies for the game.

gob b (coach BIG): It would be great to see stickers for coaches and commentators at the majors. I also want to remove the Overpass card. It is currently an unbalanced map with large distances making it difficult for players to move around.

SPUNJ (commentator): I want to officially invite Gabe Newel to the Major.

valde (ENCE player): Return the Cobblestone card.

flameZ (OG player): I want to completely change the competitive map pool and add seven new maps to it.

n0rb3r7 (Outsiders player): Remove Mirage from the map pool. Every player knows what to do on this map. He knows every corner, every smoke grenade and how to "peep".

Spinx (Vitality player): I think we need to change the AWP and have five instead of ten rounds. There can be one sniper at the point, who will simply kill the entire opposing team. If he has five rounds, then an ace will be impossible if he misses.

Magisk (Vitality player): Remove the AWP. All the best players in the world are snipers. What's next? Let's give them 500 health, aren't they snipers who can't move fast?

Snappi (captain of ENCE): Prevent teammates from dropping smoke grenades. It's very stupid when you can bring five grenades to the "monster" on the Overpass map, because of which the opponent will not understand anything about the situation at this point.

sh1ro (Player Cloud9): Need to increase mobility with AWP so that you can move faster while crouching.

IEM Rio Major 2022 takes place from October 31 to November 13 in Brazil at the Jeunesse Arena and at the Riocentro convention center. As part of the championship, 24 teams from the CIS, Europe, North and South America, and Asia are fighting for a total prize pool of $1,250,000, ranking points in the BLAST Premier table, as well as tickets to BLAST Premier: World Final 2022 and IEM Katowice 2023 for the winner.
