Details of IEM XII Oakland became known
Organizers of the 7th season of the competition Intel Extreme Masters Oakland have published the details of their tournament’s final stage - Astralis and FaZe Clan has received direct invitations. 12 teams will take part in the championship, however, it is unknown how many teams will get to the tournament directly.

All participants will be divided into two groups, where they will play in a Round Robin system in a bo1 format. Winners of the group stage will go to the semi-final and rosters to hold the 2nd and the 3rd places will start their way in the playoff stage from quarterfinals. The playoff matches are planned till two victories, however, we will see the confrontation in a bo5 format at the grand final.
The final stage of IEM XII Oakland will be hosted on November 16-19 this year at The Oracle Arena in Oakland, USA. 12 participants will struggle for the title of the champion and the prize pool in the sum of $330,000.
