The big Counter-Strike 2 event continues with the CS Asia Championship 2023. In case anyone is not aware of it or has forgotten, this is a championship with a prize pool of $500,000 and a top linup of participants. It's also a rare tournament in China.

We are at the play-offs stage, where the grand finals are about to be decided. Astralis and MOUZ will meet in the first semi-final, and then we will see the match between FaZe Clan and ENCE. We will talk about the second match.

Let's explore which team will emerge victorious in the semifinals of CS Asia Championship 2023 between ENCE and FaZe Clan. As discussed earlier, the triumphant team will progress to the grand final, where they'll go head-to-head with the winner of the Astralis - MOUZ matchup on top CS2 gambling sites.

We start the analysis of the match with the analysis of FaZe Clan's form. In this match they play the first number, which is not surprising.

Speaking of award tournaments, there was less luck here. Top-12 at IEM Rio 2023, and Top-4 at IEM Dallas 2023. At the only Major e in the season FaZe did not cope with the tension, but made it to TOP-8.

Before the Long Conference IEM Cologne 2023 they attended two tournaments of BLAST series: Spring Final 2023 and Fall Groups 2023. At the Finals they were ranked Top 6, and at the Fall Groups 2023 they were in the top three, earning themselves a slot at the Autumn Finals.

Despite the ubiquitous Reshuffle and rather "average" results for the year, FaZe didn't change the main roster. However, there were some substitutions: FaZe presented a new coach, who became the legendary Pole NEO. On his post he replaced the legendary RobbaN and it affected FaZe's gameplay in IEM Cologne 2023, where FaZe took the top-12.

The setbacks continued from there onwards. At Gamers8 2023 FaZe Clan took a similar place (9-12), Ledgeiv at the Long Segment of the Vp tournament with the score 2-0.

Things didn't go too well at ESL Pro League Season 18. FaZe made it to the play-offs on the top grid of Group C, beating 9Z Team and Fnatic, but in the match for seeding in the main stage they lost to NaVi with the score 0-2. However, FaZe didn't manage to play long at ESL Pro League Season 18: in the first play-offs match, which for FaZe started from the second stage, the team met MOUZ. The future EPL champions sent FaZe Clan home. As a result FaZe found themselves on the 9-12th place of the top tournament.

FaZe rehabilitated quite quickly. Already at IEM Sydney 2023 they triumphed with the victory over CoL in the grand final.

Thunderpick World Championship 2023 FaZe Clan have a great time. The titular European club passed the group stage without problems becoming the best team of the quartet B, and then took part in the play-offs of the championship.

The first opponent for FaZe in the play-offs of Thunderpick World Championship 2023 was MOUZ. A serious opponent, but FaZe did well: 2-1 in favour of the champions of IEM Sydney 2023.

Later MOUZ played against C9 in the match for the final of the tournament and won. They finished what they started with a match against Vp in the grand finals of Thunderpick World Championship 2023, becoming the champion of the $500,000 online tournament.

At CS Asia Championship 2023 FaZe confidently made their way to the play-offs through Group B. Having taken the unquestionable TOP-1 position the team went directly to the semi-finals of the tournament.

The best team of FaZe is Mirage. They played 12 matches and won 9 of them.

Next were Overpass with 8 matches and 5 wins. They play Nuke (7 matches, 4 wins), Inferno (9 matches, 5 wins). Worse is Ancient with 3 wins in 6 matches, and worst of all was Anubis. His FaZe was picked 7 times, but played with a winrate of 42%.

ENCE Form.

We continue the match analysis with the analysis of ENCE form. In this match the Finns play the second number.

During the season the team took the top 3 on CCT Central Europe Malta Vibes, top 4 on ESL Pro League Season 17, and also reached the top 8 European RMR B - qualifying event for BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023. ENCE also played at the Major, but it was TOP-14, which is hardly a worthy result.

IEM Dallas 2023 turned out to be much more pleasant. ENCE looked quite cheerful throughout the event, which allowed them to defeat MOUZ in the grand finals with a score of 2-0. Just before IEM Cologne 2023, ESL Challenger Katowice was played, where they had to defeat Vp in the grand final 1-2.

ENCE have been playing in a stable roster for almost half a year. SunPayus and NertZ headline the roster with a KDA of 1.12.

Thanks to their victory at IEM Dallas 2023 ENCE started Cologne from the group stage. The first opponent was the Poles from 9INE, who gave the Finns serious problems, but lost with a score of 1-2 and a series of dops on the decisive map.

The next match was a match against Fnatic. ENCE won both maps, leaving Fnatic no special chances.

In the match for the Grand Final ENCE played against Heroic. Being an outsider, the Finns took a very good approach to the match and shut down the top 1 team in the world with a score of 2-1 in a tough Bo3.

Next up was a match against Vitality and as a result a passage to the Grand Final of IEM Cologne 2023. ENCE was not enough for the title, G2 Esports were stronger.

After an offensive Cologne 2023 ENCE started Gamers8 on a high note. They defeated Liquid 2-0 in the first match of the tournament.

In the semi-final match they played against Cloud9. Again, the Finns closed the series with a score of 2-0, leaving little chance for the Americans.

Later ENCE beat Heroic again, and dry, and in the grand final Gamers8 faced Vitality. Again, ENCE failed to take the title, Ledgeiv with a 1-2 score.

At the ESL Pro League Season 18 Long Round of the ESL Pro League, ENCE faced off against Evil Geniuses. The North American club even gave a fight, but only on the second map (14-16 Nuke), but still lost.

ENCE faced MIBR in the match to reach the final of the top grid of Group B at ESL Pro League Season 18. The new generation of the legendary Brazilian tag showed beautiful CSGO, and it was enough for one map.

Before the play-offs, ENCE defeated BIG in a match to advance to the quarter-finals. The game ended 2-1, and ENCE were the winner of their group.

In the quarter-finals ENCE played against Movistar Riders. As expected, the Spaniards couldn't offer any proper resistance and were swept on two maps (16-2 Overpass and 16-5 Anubis).

ENCE's journey to ESL Pro League Season 18 ended at the semi-final stage. The Finns Ledge and future tournament champions MOUZ lost 1-2.

They played at BLAST Premier: Fall Showdown, which they failed. At the tournament the Finns finished top 4, which is hardly a serious result considering the level of the championship and the teams that played there.

ENCE also played at IEM Sydney 2023 - the first major tournament in CS2. There they managed to reach the play-offs of the championship, but in the first match of the main stage Ledge and FaZe Clan, who later became the champions of the tournament.

Directly at the CS Asia Championship 2023 ENCE played Group A on TOP-2. In the match for seeding in the play-offs they lost to Astralis in a very lacklustre manner, although the match ended with the score 2-1.

ENCE played NiP in the first round of the play-offs. The match ended in a complete bo3, with the final score 2-1 in favour of the Finns.

ENCE has two 100 per cent maps. They are Nuke with 9 wins in 9 matches and Anubis with 5 matches and 0 losses.

Still playing Ancient (66% wins in 3 matches). Still playing Mirage (9 matches, 4 wins). Vertigo with 2 wins and 3 losses and Overpass (2 wins in 7 matches).

Do not play Inferno.
