The teams Vitality and Heroic will fight in the grand final of ESL One Cologne 2020 Europe. The match will be hosted in a bo5 format and the winner will earn $150,000 of grabs and 800 rating points, while the second finalist will have to be satisfied with $50,000 and 550 points.

The teams faced for the last time at cs_summit 6 Europe two months ago and then, Team Vitality was stronger, which defeated its opponent with a score of 2:1.

Team Vitality reached the grand final pretty predictably, having beaten a row of teams on their way with a score of 2:0 and Astralis was stronger in the group stage. It is worth noticing that the team made it to the grand final of the last two championships and placed second but today, it might “dispel this curse”.

In its turn, Heroic has become a real discovery of the championship because they had been a pretty mediocre team before the tournament but they reached the new level with the arrival of HUNDEN as a coach. At the moment, the guys are outsiders of the match, however, they will have to score at least one map.

Bookmakers consider Vitality to be the favorite and we agree with them, however, it is too early to write off Heroic because bookmakers considered the guys to be the outsiders in every match.
