LighTofHeaveN was fired and left the lighting staff for The International 10. Or not? Understanding the situation
In the vastness of the Russian-speaking community, a conflict unleashed, which, in principle, had already been exhausted, but the clarity of the situation was still lacking. Dmitry 'LighTofHeaveN' Kupriyanov shared his thoughts on his future activities within The International 10 on his Twitter account. According to Dmitry, his activities at TI10 are likely to come to an end and we will no longer be able to hear the winner of the first The International:
My path to # TI10 ended as possible in all subsequent tournaments from Valve. I thank them for their joint ten-year cooperation and wish you all the best. Thanks to everyone who watched and supported. Sincerely your Strangler:)
Dmitry appeared in a video call on the StarPerHub show and said that he had already bought a ticket for October 16. He is going to fly to Moscow and appear as a guest on Yaroslav's 'NS' Kuznetsov show. NS supported Dmitry and said that he was most likely dramatizing and did not understand the situation quite correctly.
The RuHub studio took Kupriyanov's statement seriously enough and dedicated a poem to a hockey in support of the Russian-speaking caster:
(hokku is a style of Japanese lyric poetry that is characterized by deep content in a text with a small size)
The main thing is not where the grass is greener
The main thing is when the lads are around. We are with you
And we are waiting for the release of the Strangler. And not alone.
Vitaly 'v1lat' Volochai, in turn, considers this conclusion to be very hasty. In addition, Volochay wished Kupriyanov to refuse to take substances that affect his psyche and force him to draw such disappointing conclusions. According to Vitaly, some casters also have days off and do not know the exact schedule for several days in advance. In addition, he recalled that the distribution of talent is handled directly by Valve themselves, who organized The International 10:
Maybe Dima should stop taking the drugs he is taking? The fact that he got kicked was news to everyone here. If anything, not only Lost is not on the schedule for the next two days. I also have two days without broadcasts. At Bafik, at Adequat. But we don’t take tickets home...
Dmitry Kupriyanov connects his absence from the upcoming schedule with the fact that he incorrectly spoke out towards Natus Vincere, calling their situation "commemorations" and now considers Vitaly Volochay's direct involvement in his departure from the casters. One Twitter user asked v1lat directly about this case and asked for clarification:
Vitaly, he told StarPerHub that you burst in and was like "fired him." and judging by the reaction of the guys, you did it not for the first time. can you say something to that?
Vitaly denied this information, citing the fact that he could not physically be in a place where he could persuade employees to dismiss LighTofHeaveN.
I was at the hotel before lunch. Where have I burst into? God, it's even funny to read. I wrote in the confusion of talents that it is impossible to behave this way with colleagues, to which Dima answered me very rudely. This concludes our dialogue. Everything
The situation is very interesting. There are a couple of days left until the end of The International 10 and we will be able to find out whether Dmitry said the truth or v1lat is right.
