OGA Dota Pit Season 5 EU & CIS: Team Secret will fight with Team Spirit for reaching the grand final

The second semifinal match of the upper bracket within the OGA Dota Pit Season 5 Europe & CIS has come to its end. The meeting was quite interesting and very intriguing, especially considering that reaching the final of the upper bracket was at stake, and KuroKy and Puppey were playing against each other, which makes the duel of former friends more dramatic.

On the first map, Team Secret chose Void Spirit and Phantom Lancer as the main heroes of death, on which SumaiL and Nisha played incredibly well. They finished the fight with a personal stats of 21-3-10 and 12-1-13, respectively. As a result, the first map ended in 39 minutes with a total score of 40-13 in favor of Secret, and the teams switched to the second map. After a short break, Nigma Galaxy fixed some of their mistakes and put up a lot of resistance. Although the team changed their pick, iLTW still failed to make a proper impact on the game on Drow Ranger. Miracle- tried to drag the game to Lina, but Team Secret were much better played. With the help of Dark Willow, YapZor showed an excellent game and with all the efforts of the “secret” ones finished the fight in 64 minutes, and this time the total score was 39-29 in favor of the same Team Secret.

The victory in this match ensured that Puppey and his teammates reached the final of the upper bracket, where the team will compete with the reigning Dota 2 world champion Team Spirit. The teams will compete for the right to become the first grand finalist of the fifth season of the OGA Dota Pit League in Europe and the CIS.

Nigma Galaxy, in turn, fell into the lower bracket, where they are awaiting the result of the Natus Vincere vs Tundra Esports match. The winning roster will play against Nigma Galaxy for further participation.

OGA Dota Pit Season 5 Europe & CIS runs from 13 to 20 December. The total prize pool of the tournament is $ 175,000. The winner will take home the main prize of $ 73,000, while $ 37,900 will go to the vice champion and $ 20,400 will go to the bronze medalist. Eight teams take part in the competition: OG, Team Spirit, Natus Vincere, Tundra Esports, Nigma Galaxy, Team Liquid, Team Secret and Alliance.
