OGA Dota Pit Season 5 Europe & CIS: Alliance took 7th-8th place

The second elimination match within the OGA Dota PIt Season 5 Europe & CIS has come to an end. Alliance and Team Liquid fought against each other in it.

The first map was filled with fighting and was interesting. In 38 minutes, Liquid achieved their goal and demolished the throne of their opponents, and on the general scoreboard there was a score of 25-23 in favor of iNSaNiA and his teammates. MATUMBAMAN coped with its task very well and Luna took it to the maximum. He ended the meeting with a personal record of 10-3-8. Supream ^^ from Alliance was also good and played on Void Spirit with a score of 10-5-7, but this was not enough for the team to prevail in this fight.

On the second map, Liquid was inspired by the previous result and made almost no big mistakes. Alliance, on the other hand, played much worse on the contrary and could not ultimately beat their teammates. Alliance's best player was Nikobaby, who played 9-3-7 at the Wraith King, but this is not comparable to how miCKe played on Ember Spirit. Liquid's mid lane defended well, farm items well and finished the fight 24-3-11. That's more than half of the team's total kills. The team beat Alliance with a score of 40-22 in 50 minutes.

The defeat of Alliance led to the fact that now Nikobaby and his teammates can only watch what is happening at the tournament as a spectator. Their struggle in the event came to an end. For the 7th-8th place, the team received a consolation prize of $ 5,750. Let us remind you that Natus Vincere came to the same outcome after the game they played against Tundra Esports. They lost there 1-2.

This game day made it clear to us who reached the final of the upper bracket. So far, the best results are shown by Team Spirit and Team Secret. The teams will play with each other on December 19 for the right to qualify for the grand final.

OGA Dota Pit Season 5 Europe & CIS runs from 13 to 20 December. The total prize pool of the tournament is $ 175,000. The winner will take home the main prize of $ 73,000, while $ 37,900 will go to the vice champion and $ 20,400 will go to the bronze medalist. Eight teams take part in the competition: OG, Team Spirit, Natus Vincere, Tundra Esports, Nigma Galaxy, Team Liquid, Team Secret and Alliance.
