In the latest episode of the Side Pool podcast, independent English-speaking caster Austin "Capitalist" Walsh talked about the shift in communication between Valve and the community. According to the caster, after the cancellation of the first major DPC 2021/22 Season 1, a meeting was held between Valve and representatives of professional teams.

I don't know what we will end up with. I have no idea how the teams demand something, but I think that Valve will decide what to do next: will there be some kind of replacement instead of a major, will something go online.
The most important thing is that they really talked to the teams, because the main problem of the players and teams has always been communication with Valve.
