DOTA Summit 12: the first matches will start very soon!
From March 10 to 13, the 12th DOTA Summit season will take place, in which 6 participants will compete. They came to Summit House, located in Los Angeles, in order to share a common prize pool of $ 150,000. All teams became owners of direct invitations from the organizers of the championship. Invitations were received by Evil Geniuses , Fnatic , OG Seed , Team Liquid , Thunder Predator and Cloud9 .
Teams will start from the group stage, which will be held in Round Robin mode. All meetings will be held in Bo2 format, and the initial stage will not exclude any of the participants, but will only determine seeding in the playoffs. The final stage will take place in the Double Elimination grid. The top four of the group stage will go to the upper bracket, while the two worst participants will fall to the bottom. All playoff matches, with the exception of the grand finals, will be held in Bo3 format. The final meeting will take place in a series of up to three victories (Bo5).
