Thunder Awaken qualified for ESL One Stockholm Major 2022
The Thunder Awaken team has qualified for the upcoming ESL One Stockholm Major 2022. Thanks to a successful performance at the DPC SA 2021/2022 Tour 2: Division I, the Peruvian team secured a place in the first full-fledged Major of the season.
Based on the results of six rounds played, Thunder Awaken ensured getting into the TOP-2 of their region, winning six matches. In addition, in the last confrontation, the Peruvian team turned out to be stronger than APU King of Kings with a score of 2:0.
Note that beastcoast and Hokori will compete for the last ticket to ESL One Stockholm Major 2022 from Latin America.
ESL One Stockholm Major 2022 will take place from May 12 to 22 in Sweden at the Hovet Arena Stockholm. The championship will be attended by four teams from Western Europe and China, three teams from Eastern Europe (under question), two teams from North and South America, and three teams from Southeast Asia.
Recall that earlier the organizers changed the format of the ESL One Stockholm Major 2022 — ESL decided to abandon the WildCard stage and direct invitations to the championship playoffs.
