Getting acquainted with the results of the group stage of ESL One Stockholm Major 2022

The group stage of ESL One Stockholm Major 2022 has come to an end, following which the teams Tundra Esports, OG, BetBoom Team, T1, BOOM Esports, beastcoast, Gaimin Gladiators, Thunder Awaken, Team Liquid, Team Spirit, TSM and Fnatic made it to the playoffs. At the same time, the North American team Evil Geniuses left the tournament, joining the disqualified Mind Games team.

Group A

The leader of group A was the European team Tundra Esports, which won five victories and drew once. Team OG is in second place with three wins, two losses and two draws. The BetBoom Team was next, ending the group stage with a 2-3-1 result. The last slot in the upper bracket was knocked out by the T1 team, which got two wins, suffered two losses, and also drew twice.

The worst team in group A was Evil Geniuses, which limited itself to two draws, adding to all four defeats. At the same time, the teams BOOM Esports and beastcoast made it to the lower bracket of the playoffs of ESL One Stockholm Major 2022.

Group B was won by the Gaimin Gladiators, who finished the group stage with three wins, one loss and two draws. On the second line is the Peruvian team Thunder Awaken, which managed to get three wins in tie-breaks. Third place went to TSM, who finished the replays with two wins and one loss. The last ticket to the upper bracket went to Team Spirit, who only had one victory in tie-breaks.

In turn, Team Liquid and Fnatic made it to the lower bracket of the playoffs. It should be noted that according to the results of the matches played, all teams from group B will continue to play in the championship, since Mind Games was disqualified earlier.
