Stockholm Major 2022: Thunder Awaken reached the upper bracket semi-finals
The second quarterfinal match in the upper bracket has come to an end. There BB managed to pick up one card, but in the end they were defeated with a score of 1-2 and fell into the lower bracket.
On the first map, all Thunder Awaken players had almost the same impact on the game and, as a result, even have a similar KDA. The meeting was not filled with a lot of mass fights and in 40 minutes TA finished what they started and won with a score of 26-21.

The second map was much more interesting than the first one and there we could see a great performance of DarkMago from Thunder Awaken. This fight was notable for the seesaw that swung back and forth and the fans of both teams were very worried about their favorites. For example, at 28 minutes Thunder Awaken led with an advantage of 8,000+ gold, but by 35 minutes things were reversed. At this point, the players from the BB Team were able to tip the scales in their favor and went ahead of their rivals by 3,000+ earned gold. Later, namely by 41 minutes, Thunder Awaken took the initiative again and went into the lead by 4,500 gold. BB Team did not give up and after the decisive fight they went and in the 49th minute brought what they started to the end.

The third map lasted almost as long as the second, namely 43 minutes. On it, the participants of the match showed a filigree balance and accuracy of performance. Earned experience, gold and the cost of the characters were again on the side of Thunder Awaken, then passed to the BB Team. This time, Thunder Awaken did some work on the bugs, and the last 15 minutes were busy gradually but surely putting pressure on their opponents. In a special way, it is worth highlighting the Peruvian carry under the nickname Pakazs. Christian Savina showed an excellent performance on Templar Assassin and brought victory to the team with his performance. He finished the third map with a 13-3-13 record.

The winners of Thunder Awaken will now take on Tundra Esports in the upper bracket semi-finals. Recall that earlier Tundra defeated Team Spirit with a score of 2-1. The BB Team that fell into the lower bracket will now oppose BOOM Esports. This match could be their last.
