Fnatic left ESL One Stockholm 2022

Quite recently, the name of the eighth team, which completed its participation in the Major Dota 2 tournament, ESL One Stockholm 2022, became known. The Asians from Fnatic became this team. Their last opponent in this championship was OG.

The first map was quite long and ended only after 45 minutes. In it, the team failed to win the mid and top lane, which contributed to the victory of OG throughout the map. By the 15th minute, the Europeans had already gained good momentum and were pushing through their opponents and imposing their game. Bzm and yuragi showed themselves best of all in this confrontation, playing on Pangolier and Juggernaut, respectively, with 10-2-11 and 15-2-11 statistics.

In the second map, Fnatic found hope of winning this Bo3 confrontation and entering the top 6 best participants in ESL One Stockholm Major 2022. If in the first map the first few minutes of the favorite could not be distinguished, then in the case of the second map there was not a single minute, when OG would be leading in favor of networth, experience and gold. The Asian snowball gained serious momentum by the 33rd minute, and after that Jabz and his teammates mercilessly destroyed opponents for 2 minutes, after which he put an end to this match. The best statistics were shown by the mid and carry teams. Armel and Raven performed at Kunkka and Medusa with scores of 9-1-15 and 5-0-11 respectively.

The third map was the most intriguing, interesting, intense and unpredictable. There, Fnatic and OG created a real festival for the spectators of the match. Fnatic relied on Hoodwink and Chaos Knight. It is noteworthy that Keeper of the Light took the middle lane, which showed no less impressive performance than the offlaner or carry. This not the most common approach to business helped the team to gain an advantage. The first half hour of the game was filled with teamfights and a real meat grinder took place on the map. Fnatic had a great series of mass fights won, but after 45 minutes, the Asians began to give up. Morphling, who was bet by the players from OG, got into great shape and began to break the face of his opponents. 51 minutes marked a change in the favorite of the match and OG recaptured 10,000 lost networth from their rivals. When Yuragi got a taste, it was already very difficult to stop him.

After 65 minutes of play, Fnatic wrote GG and left the competition, taking 7-8th place in it. Thus, OG entered the top 6 of the best teams at ESL One Stockholm 2022 and provided themselves with a prize of $25,000 + 385 rating points.

ESL One Stockholm Major 2022 runs from May 12-22. The total prize pool of the Major competition is $500,000 and 3,530 Dota Pro Circuit rating points. The winner will earn the main reward of $200,000 and 680 DPC points. The silver medalist will receive $100,000 + 610 DPC points, and the team that takes 3rd place in the standings will get $75,000 and 530 rating points.
