
DPC 2022 Tour 3: event digest for 06/23
Thursday as part of the DPC 2021/2022 ranking season was remembered for a large number of matches in Southeast Asia and Eastern Europe, as well as several confrontations in North and South America. As part of our daily column, we will briefly review all the events of the previous gaming day.
DPC NA 2021/2022 Tour 3
The region was marked by one meeting, but what a! Evil Geniuses fought one of their principal rivals, namely TSM. The winner of the match could claim the title of race leader in the first division. Both teams approached the fight with 2-1 statistics, both teams are former participants of ESL One Stockholm 2022.

On the first map, Arteezy and the team demonstrated total dominance over the opponent. Namely, they won in 28 minutes with a score of 22:6. After that, TSM managed to pull themselves together and recoup in a more protracted fight. Thus the series came down to the decisive third map. None of the teams wanted to lose the coveted leadership, which could further guarantee participation in the PGL Arlington Major. DPC SEA 2021/2022 Tour 3
Division II matches were played first. Neon Esports faced Made In Philippines and Army Geniuses played against Atlantis. For Neon, the task was to improve their standings, because the former member of the first division had already lost two matches. In turn, MIP, being a team from the open qualifiers, show a fairly satisfactory performance for their level, namely 1-2 statistics. The main event of the day in Southeast Asia was the confrontation between Fnatic and Talon Esports. Each of the teams at the time of the meeting did not know defeat. Talon even won three victories in a row, which made them the undisputed favorites of the region, and Fnatic managed to outplay Nigma Galaxy SEA and RSG.

Teehee and his compatriots outplayed Neon Esports with a score of 2:0 in two protracted confrontations. Thus, Neon has practically no chances to return to the first division, and the question of their future fate in the rating season is already on the table. Army Geniuses overcame Atlantis after three maps and improved their position to 3-1. Talon Esports started their match against Fnatic in a very vague way, focusing on farming and systematically losing fights. So 23savage first lost on the first map in almost 37 minutes. On the second map, the team began to perform much more confidently, but then Fnatic managed to turn the game around and close the series with a score of 2:0. DPC EEU 2021/2022 Tour 3
Division II midfielders and former PuckChamp Major Leaguers were scheduled to play with No Sorry, who also perform consistently in Division II. Team Empire fought with HellRaisers. And within the first division, the former participants of ESL One Stockholm 2022 BetBoom Team opposed Rune Eaters.

PuckChamp confidently defeated their opponents, despite the fact that on the first map No Sorry managed to drag out the confrontation to 47 minutes. Team Empire lost to HellRaisers with a score of 0:2. And BetBoom Team improved their tournament statistics to 2-1 with a triumph in the competition with Rune Eaters. Thus, in Eastern Europe, there are already 5 teams claiming the coveted places in the top 3, namely BetBoom Team, Natus Vincere, One Move, Outsiders and Team Spirit. The fight for a trip to the Major is gaining momentum.

South America was marked by second division matches. Dreamers Esports had to face favorites Ravens, and underdogs from Balrogs Esports played against NoPing e-sports.

The Ravens strengthened their status as the region's leader with a 2-0 win, now the team's result in the standings is 4-0. And the Balrogs, in turn, worsened their position. The defeat from NoPing e-sports was already the fourth this season. This concludes our brief review of yesterday's matches.
As a reminder, DPC 2021/2022 Tour 3 runs from June 6 to July 15, 2022. In the first division of each region, $205,000, 1150 DPC points are up for grabs to qualify for The International 11 , as well as slots for the PGL Arlington Major . In the second division of each region, teams compete for $75,000 and 2 places in the first division.
