DPC CN 2021/2022 Tour 3: Division I: Aster.Aries defeated EHOME a week after the start of the match

The protracted confrontation between EHOME and Aster.Aries within DPC CN 2021/2022 Tour 3: Division I has come to an end. Both teams had 1-3 tournament statistics before the start of the match. The loser becomes a likely candidate for a relegation.

This meeting began on June 28, lasted one map, and then the teams encountered a bug, due to which the participants stopped at the 7th minute. We previously wrote about the results of the first map and the situation with the bug in the corresponding news. The teams started playing the second map exactly from the moment they left off. This was made possible thanks to the direct intervention of Valve, who were able to recover the match data.

After the resumption of the fight, EHOME seized the initiative for gold, having a carry in the person of Terrorblade. But this map was not without another entertaining bug. Players were faced with the fact that not one, but two of the most powerful creeps in Dota 2 appeared in Roshan's lair. For a while, the teams did not know what to do with them. However, at the 25th minute, shiro and his teammates were able to defeat two Roshans and take the Aegis of the Immortal. Fortunately, the bug did not apply to items that can be obtained from it. But the next Roshan, which appeared at the 35th minute, dropped Aegis, cheese and Refresher, that is, the players were left without Aghanim's Shard, which should have been dropped after killing the second Roshan. Aster.Aries were able to return to the confrontation, winning the fight at the 38th minute. The second lineup of Aster broke the center line and retreated. The score on the map was 34:11, and the gold advantage was only 2,000. At the 48th minute, Aster.Aries won another fight, killed Roshan and increased the lead to 27,000. In 50 minutes, RedPanda and his club equalized the score in the series and transferred the series to the decisive map.

The third map started quite actively. The score at the 21st minute was 9:13 in favor of EHOME, however, the gold advantage was over 3,000 gold. This is catastrophically small, considering that you have Alchemist in your team. At the 32nd minute, there was a rather long fight in the Dire forest, as a result of which EHOME led with a score of 23:21 and over 6,000 refarms. On the 39th zzq and the team killed Roshan once again, Aegis of the Immortal got Void Spirit. Aster.Aries managed to win the fight in the 52nd minute, take Roshan and seize the initiative from the opponent. Having won the decisive battle in the 60th minute, Aster.Aries gained the upper hand in the series. Thus ended the match lasting almost one week.

Recall that DPC CN 2021/2022 Tour 3: Division I runs from June 7th to July 15th of this year in an online format. The top 8 teams in China are fighting for $205,000 in prize money, 1150 DPC points and 4 slots in the PGL Arlington Major. The 2 worst teams will continue to play in Division II.
