The first participant of The International 2022 became known
Based on the results of the ongoing league Dota Pro Circuit 2021/2022, PSG.LGD earned enough points to secure a trip to The International 2022. Now the Chinese team has 1,400 rating points. The team takes part in Dota Pro Circuit Season 2021/2022 China Tour 3 Division 1. The team is currently in 6th place with 2-3 statistics.
Behind the giants are only Dandelion Esport Club and EHOME. Royal Never Give Up, Team Aster, Xtreme Gaming, Aster.Aries and Vici Gaming also compete against PSG.LGD in the league.
DPC 2021/2022 CN Tour 3 Division 1 runs from June 7 to July 15. The total prize fund of the championship is $205,000. The four best teams will not only receive big cash prizes, but will also earn invitations to the next Dota 2 Major tournament. They also get a bonus of Dota Pro Circuit Ranking Points to help them qualify for the main Dota 2 event, The International. The winner and vice-champion will each receive $30,000 and $28,000.

The International 2022 will take place from 15 to 30 October. The venue will be Suntec Singapore and Singapore Indoor Stadium in Singapore. The total prize fund of the championship will be the initial $1,600,000 + collected funds from the sales of the Battle Pass. As a reminder, 25% of the collected funds go to the prize pool, which go to the Valve wallet through the Battle Pass. The group stage will take place in the first three days of the tournament. After that, the participants will have a couple of days off. The main stage will be held in two periods: from October 20 to October 23 and from October 29 to 30. The International 2022 will invite 11 more teams that will receive the most ranking points during the Dota Pro Circuit season, as well as six participants who will enter the championship through regional qualifiers in each region: North America, South America, Western Europe, Eastern Europe, China and Southeast Asia. The remaining two slots will be distributed among 2 teams from 12 participating teams from the Wild Card.
