Don't miss the start of Riyadh Masters 2022!

In less than an hour, a major Dota 2 championship starts with a prize pool of $4,000,000. The tournament promises to be interesting, and therefore it is not recommended for Dota 2 fans to miss it.

The championship starts from the group stage. There, 10 participants of the event were divided into two groups of five participants each. Group A included Nigma Galaxy, OG, Royal Never Give Up, Team Liquid and TSM. Group B included Deboosters, PSG.LGD, Team Secret, Team Spirit and Tundra Esports.

Today, participants from Group A will compete in the opening confrontations: TSM, Team Liquid, Royal Never Give Up and Nigma Galaxy. In other matches, OG, Tundra Esports, Team Secret, Team Spirit and Deboosters will fight. It will be interesting to see how the Debosters players, who took first place in the regional Gamers Without Borders 2022, will perform, where they received an invite to the event. Compared to the rest of the participants in the event, they feel like the main outsider, but what if the players can surprise us?

The top three teams from each group will advance to the playoffs. The teams that take the first place will start their journey from the semi-finals. Teams that take 2-3 positions in the group stage table will play in the quarter-finals. The participants of the championship, who, according to the results of the group stage, will take 4-5 lines, will not be able to break into the playoffs and will take 7-8 or 9-10 places in the standings. It is noteworthy that in the group stage the teams will play in the Bo2 format, while all other matches in the playoffs will be held in a series of up to two wins (Bo3).

Riyadh Masters 2022 will be held from 20 to 24 July. The total prize fund of the championship will be $4,000,000, $1,500,000 of which will go to the winner's wallet. The vice-champion and teams that take 3rd-4th places will receive $750,000 and $425,000 respectively.
