The first gaming day of ESL One Malaysia 2022 continues. The second matches in the group stage, which were played by the members of group A, have come to an end. Let's look at their results. We wrote about the results of the first stream of matches earlier.

Team Secret vs Alliance

Secret kicked off the series with a quality performance. From the 11th minute, Puppey and the team began to increase their advantage. At the same time, it is worth noting the frankly weak game from Alliance. Having a strong teamfight in the form of Puck, Faceless Void and Snapfire, Nikobaby and his teammates in 30 minutes of the game were able to realize a combination of the ultimate abilities of these heroes only a few times. Nikobaby on Faceless Void finished 0-6-2, a very uncertain game. Team Secret defeated Alliance with a score of 37:7.

On the second map, Alliance decided not to invent a pick that would counter the opponent's heroes, but to play their own game. In the course of the fight, it is worth noting the ultimates from Mars, who successfully closed the opponents into the arena. However, Team Secret showed the difference in class and defeated their European counterparts with a score of 32:11 in 28 minutes.

Team Aster vs. Thunder Awaken

Unlike Alliance, Thunder Awaken at least tried to resist the group's favorite. But statistically, Team Aster took the lead from the first minutes both in terms of total cost and experience. The Chinese team had a very successful and rather mobile pick, the survival of which was ensured by Dazzle. In the 27th minute, Team Aster had over 20,000 gold and were in the lead with a score of 35:15. After 3 minutes, Thunder Awaken admitted defeat on the map, writing "gg". Monet and the team defeated the rival from South America with a score of 43:16.

Thunder Awaken decided to bet on mobility on the map, as evidenced by their choice of heroes. But they failed to implement it. The bronze medalists of the PGL Arlington Major implemented their heroes better and imposed an aggressive game. Team Aster defeated Thunder Awaken on the second map with a score of 53:27 in 34 minutes.

Entity vs Talon Esports

Entities continue to use Bristleback as a carry. The first map was marked by the fact that Talon Esports' bet on Razor paid off. 23savage and the team took the lead from time to time in the first 20 minutes of the game. But in the end, Fishman and his teammates defeated Talon Esports with a score of 26:17 in 31 minutes.

The second map was completely dominated by the European team. 29 minutes were enough for Entity to demonstrate the difference in the level of play between them and Talon Esports. Pudge in first position played with a score of 20-0-9. The duel ended with the result 43:11 in favor of Entity.

Entity 2:0 Talon Esports

It is worth noting that the first game day in Group A ended quite predictably. The favorites of the group represented by Entity, Team Secret and Team Aster each earned 2 wins over the underdogs of the championship. Alliance show an unprincipled game and are unlikely to be able to leave the group.

Recall that ESL One Malaysia 2022 runs from August 23rd to 28th this year. The venue is the Arena of Stars located in Genting Highland, Malaysia. 12 teams compete for a $400,000 prize pool. The winner of the tournament will receive the main prize of $175,000.
