
PGL to Host Regional Qualifiers, Last Chance Stage and The International 2022 Group Stage
Tournament operator PGL has announced that it will hold regional qualifiers, the Last Chance stage and the group stage of The International 2022. Company representatives announced this on the official website.
Regional qualifiers will take place from September 3rd to 17th: in each region (Eastern Europe, South America, China, North America, Southeast Asia and Western Europe), offering participants one direct ticket to The International 2022, as well as two slots to stage Last Chance.
Eastern Europe Qualifier (September 3-7): X3, Unique, cybercats, HYDRA, Outsiders, Pari Parni, PuckChamp, Mind Games, Natus Vincere, HellRaisers, One Move, BetBoom Team, Nemiga Gaming, Project Armor.
Qualifier for Latin America (September 3-7): Infamous, Ravens, No Runes, SG esports, Hokori, Wolf Team, Infinity, Tempest, Dreamers Esports, Balrogs, Qhali, Mad Kings.
China Qualifier (September 3-7): Royal Never Give Up, Xtreme Gaming, EHOME, Aster.Aries, Vici Gaming, CDEC Gaming, Invictus Gaming, Ybb Gaming, Team MagMa, LBZS, ShenZhen, Team Fusion, Team Saiyan.
North America Qualifier (September 8-12): Soniqs, nouns, Wildcard Gaming, 5RATFORCESTAFF, Alpha, The Cut, KBU.US, felt, Team DogChamp, Eternity, Arkosh Gaming, CDUB Esports.
Southeast Asia Qualifier (September 13-17): Talon Esports, T1, RSG, Polaris Esports, Nigma Galaxy SEA, Neon Esports, Execration, Lilgun, Army Geniuses, Summit Gaming, Atlantis, Xerxia, TNC Predator.
Qualifier for Western Europe (September 13-17): Team Liquid, Entity, Team Secret, Nigma Galaxy, goonsquad, Into The Breach, Alliance, DGG Esports, IVY, Team Bald Reborn, 11Monkeyz, Brame.
The Last Chance stage matches for The International 2022 will be held from 8 to 12 October. Twelve teams (2 from each region - 2nd and 3rd in Regional Qualifiers) will compete for the last two spots in the TI Group Stage.
The main part of The International 2022 will take place from October 15 to 30 in Singapore at the Indoor Stadium and Suntec Arena. This championship is reported to be the largest in Dota 2 history, as 30 teams from all over the world will take part in it.
Direct participants of the event are PSG.LGD, BOOM Esports, OG, TSM, Thunder Awaken, Tundra Esports, Team Spirit, beastcoast, Team Aster, Fnatic, Evil Geniuses and Gaimin Gladiators.
The playoffs will take place from October 20 to 23 at the Suntec Arena, while The International 2022 finals will take place from October 29 to 30 at the Indoor Stadium.
