PGL published rules for community casters in The International 11 qualifiers
Tournament operator PGL, which will host The International 11, has published the rules and guidelines for community casters in the qualifiers for the main event of the year in Dota 2. In other matters, the rules are not much different from what they were a year ago.
If you are a community caster, you must abide by the following rules:
- Community casters can only broadcast DOTA TV broadcasts on their stream. The demonstration of any officially created broadcasts, including those available in the game (re-broadcast), is prohibited. Please strictly follow this rule to avoid potential copyright infringements.
- Community streams are permitted for non-commercial purposes only, so we ask that you do not post any brand or sponsored content in your broadcast feed (such as sponsored overlays, logos, transitions, merchandise, etc.) or on your channel page (sponsored banners, logos, chatbot messages, etc.) while you are covering the event, including breaks between games and/or series.
- Unlicensed commercial streamers are not allowed to act as public broadcasters by default. Individual broadcasts by hired members of the non-partner community of commercial streaming organizations also qualify as commercial broadcasts and are therefore not permitted.
- Community casters should have a generally good reputation in the community.
- Please ensure that your viewers are informed that the views, thoughts and opinions expressed in the broadcast are yours alone and not those of the tournament organizers.
- You must not claim to represent PGL, Valve or The International 2022 Regional Qualifiers, Last Chance Qualifiers and Group Stage in any way.
- You are responsible for maintaining a clean and positive image of The International 2022 - Regional Qualifiers, Last Chance Qualifiers and Group Stage during broadcasts. This includes, but is not limited to, social media, responses, words and actions of you and others with whom you choose to stream. PGL reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to change the Community Broadcasting Rules or any part of them.

The main part of The International 2022 will take place from October 15 to 30 in Singapore at the Indoor Stadium and Suntec Arena. This championship is reported to be the largest in Dota 2 history as 30 teams from all over the world will take part in it.
