The first matches of The International 2022: Last Chance Qualifier will start tomorrow. The best teams from around the world that did not receive an invitation to the main event of the year will fight in LAN format for the last 2 slots at The International 2022. Qualification format
The qualifying tournament will be divided into two stages: group and playoffs. In the group stage, 2 groups of 6 participants each will be formed. Participants will play in the Single Round Robin system. The top 4 teams in the group will advance to the upper bracket of the playoffs. The 2 worst teams from each group will go to the losers' bracket. The match format is bo2.
The final stage will take place in the Double Elimination bracket. The winners of the Upper Bracket and Lower Bracket Finals will advance to The International. The match format is bo3.

The 12 teams that finished 2nd and 3rd in the regional qualifiers got the opportunity to come to Singapore to be part of the main Dota 2 tournament of the year.
