Seeding for the group stage of The International 2022 became known
The organizers of The International series tournaments and the developers of Dota 2 , Valve , presented on their official Twitter account the distribution of teams for the group stage of the World Championship. 20 teams will fight in two groups. Below is presented each of the groups.

12 teams received places in the tournament thanks to the accumulated amount of DPC points. 6 participants have passed the regional qualifiers, and the last 2 teams have successfully performed in The International 2022: Last Chance Qualifier.
The group stage starts on October 15th and will run until October 18th. The teams will fight in bo2 matches according to the Round Robin system. The 2 worst teams from each group will leave The International. The esports clubs that take 1st to 4th places will advance to the upper bracket of the playoffs, while the participants that take 5th-8th places will start their journey in the final stage from the lower bracket.
Recall that The International 2022 will be held from 15 to 30 October this year. The top 20 teams from around the world will compete in a LAN format for the title of world champion, as well as the largest prize pool of the year. At the moment, its amount is $14,223,567. The venue will be Suntec Singapore and Singapore Indoor Stadium in Singapore.
