OG and Evil Geniuses take the lead in Group A after the equator of the first game day at The International 2022

The International 2022 group stage games are underway in Singapore. We have watched the third stream of games and, as usual, we have prepared a short recap of what is happening in the matches.

The central game of the flow can be called the confrontation between PSG.LGD and EG. The Chinese giant continues to lose points and literally collapses: the y` team failed to get points in the match against Evil Geniuses, losing 0-2 and now after two games they have a score of 1-3.

In a parallel match, Liquid and Soniqs met. Having lost the first map, the “liquid” managed to close the second with battles, which gave them a score of 2-2 on maps in the overall standings.

The third match was between BOOM and Hokori. The “fairy tale” of the South American team continues with a draw in the duel with the Southeast Asian giant.

The fourth match determined the leader of group A. OG in the class dealt with Gaimin Gladiators, winning the meeting with a score of 2-0.

The stream was closed by RNG and BB Team. The team from Eastern Europe continues to experience difficulties: having failed to take points in the match with Somnus and the company, the SoNNeikO team is on the last line of the group with a score of 0-4 on maps.

There are 10 more games ahead of us. Some of them have already started, and we continue to observe what is happening.

The International 2022 will be held from October 15th to 30th this year. The top 20 teams from around the world will compete in a LAN format for the title of world champion, as well as the largest prize pool of the year. At the moment, its amount is $15,558,395. The venue will be Suntec Singapore and Singapore Indoor Stadium in Singapore.
