The last day of The International 2022 group stage has started at The International 2022. In Singapore, 20 teams continue to fight for 16 places in the playoffs. Let's start with Talon vs Entity, where the teams contested a potential last place in Group B. Thanks to a 2-0 win, Talon continue to cling to the playoffs: now both teams are tied for 8th place with a 6-10 record and both have 1 match ahead.
Another important match of group B was the confrontation between Team Secret and Team Aster. Puppey's song at 11 for The International continues: the victory over the Chinese giant guaranteed Team Secret a pass to the top of the TI22 playoffs.
In the third match, Thunder Awaken played against TSM. The teams exchanged cards, which is not very good for both: Thunder Awaken needed a victory to make the 10-6 statistics practically guarantee a place in the upper playoff bracket, and TSM to get 5-10 and equal Talon and Entity at the bottom of the table.
The surprise of the round was the matchup between Beastcoast and Team Spirit. The reigning world champions, desperate for points to advance to the TI22 upper bracket, lost on the first map, which made life much more difficult for them and now they need to beat Aster 2-0 in the next match.
In the fifth game of the stream, Tundra Esports beat Fnatic 2-0. The victory over the representatives of Southeast Asia provided Tundra with access to the upper bracket, but Fnatic fell to the 6th line of the table and now they have a vague prospect of advancing to the top of the playoff table.
There are 10 more scheduled games ahead of us, the outcome of which will determine all participants in the playoffs of The International 2022.
