DPC 2021 North America Lower Division: First Four Participants Determined
Although the closed qualifying round has not yet been fully completed, we already know the names of the first two participants who went through this process. The lucky ones were Electronic Boys and Byzantine Raiders. Arkosh Gaming and bros were able to make their way through the open qualifier.
Matches are still ongoing in both the closed qualifiers and open qualifiers.
DPC 2021 North America Lower Division will run from January 18 to February 27. The total prize pool of the tournament will be $ 75,000. The two finalists will advance to the top division of DPC Season 2 in 2021. The winner will take home the top prize of $ 17,000 and the silver medalist $ 16,000.
In parallel with the lower division, there will be meetings within the upper division. They start on January 18 and end on February 27. The total prize pool for DPC 2021 North America Upper Division will be $ 205,000 and two invites to the Major tournament. The winner of the event will earn a playoff slot for the Major, while the vice-champion will advance to the group stage of the tournament.
