WePlay AniMajor 2021: the group stage is over!
The group stage of WePlay AniMajor 2021 has come to an end along with the last game day. We were gladdened by 8 teams who were sorting out their relations and fighting for a place in the playoffs of the Kiev Major tournament, but only 6 advanced further.
WePlay AniMajor group stage results
- 1st place: PSG.LGD
- 2nd place: Nigma
- 3rd place: Vici Gaming
- 4th place: Evil Geniuses
- 5th place: TNC Predator
- 6th place: Team Spirit
- 7th place: Team Liquid
- 8th place: Beastcoast
PSG.LGD and Nigma go to the upper bracket of the playoffs. The rest of the four, represented by Vici, Evil Geniuses, TNC Predator and Team Spirit, will start their way in the main stage from the lower bracket.
Beastcoast and Team Liquid failed to overcome the group stage. The first ones take the 14th place, and the second ones - the 13th line.
The playoffs of WePlay AniMajor 2021 will begin on June 9th. The main stage mesh will be formed a bit later.
