EG and OpTic managed to make it to Dota 2 Asia Championships 2018 with the help of the North American elimination round.
Evil Geniuses made it to DAC through the top bracket. In the final, they won over copmLexity Gaming 2-0. OpTic Gaming made it through the lower bracket. In the final, they won over compLexity Gaming 2-1.

Now all the 11 participants in DAC 2018 are known. The direct invitations were received by such collectives as Invitus Gaming, Newbee, Team Liquid, Vici Gaming, Virtus.pro and Team Secret. Mineski made it to the championship through the qualifier in Southeastern Asia while Keen Gaming and LGD Gaming made it through the elimination round in China.
Dota 2 Asia Championship 2018 will be held on March 30-April 7 in Shanghai. The prize pool of the tournament will be $1,000,000 and 1,500 DPC Points, and the holding place will be Shanghai Oriental Sports Center.
