Finally we got it. DPC season 2021 kicks off next week.
Most of the attention will be focused on the WEU and EEU regions. The first to enter the battle are teams from Western Europe, which means we will start with them.
The first DPC cycle will be opened by Tundra Esports and Alliance. Potentially not the most interesting match, but what the hell is serious.
Still, we missed the tundra, and the temptation to look at the new Alliance is great.
We figure out who will be stronger in this battle and will arrange a pleasant start for the first cycle.
Tundra Esports Form
Tundra Esports will play as the nominal favorite in this match. It is absolutely not surprising.
Tundra recently announced contract extensions for the current lineup until 2024. A serious step that speaks of great intentions.
Tundra Roster
- Fata
- skiter
- Nine
- 33
- Sneyking
These five are well known to Dota fans. Last season they made a serious stir in Europe, and I am sure they will continue to do so in the coming season.
Tundra Latest matches
- Defeat PSG.LGD 3-2
- Beat SG e-sports 2-0
- Defeat Fnatic 2-1
- Lost to PSG.LGD with a score of 0-2
- Lost to Team Spirit 0-2
After losing the qualifiers for The International 10, Tundra continued to play together and perform at all sorts of commercial events. They did it quite well: they won at ESL One Fall 2021 and entered the top three at the OGA Dota Pit Invitational.
Heroes of Tundra
Most played Tundra heroes in patch 7.30: Pangolier (9 matches, 77% win), Gyrocopter (9 matches, 55% win), Shadow Demon (8 matches, 75% win).
The most successful heroes of Tundra Esports: Batrider (7 matches, 100% win), Doom (3 matches, 100% win), Leshrac (2 matches, 100% win).
Alliance Form
Alliance will be catching up in this match. Absolutely.
I think you remember the skill extravaganza that Alliance showed at The International. In Bucharest, the team got into the TOP-12, which can already be considered happiness.
Of course, the result was not very satisfactory for the club, and replacements went. The way the Alliance roster looks in the end does not inspire confidence.
Alliance Roster
- Nikobaby
- Supream ^
- Leslao
- Aramis
- Handsken
When you look at these five players, you don’t understand at all how it should work. How will the fully international line-up stack up, if even in the previous roster with 3 Swedes the team had huge problems with synergy and cooperation.
Alliance Recent Results
- Lose at Undying 0-2
- Lose at T1 0-2
- Lost to Invictus Gaming with a score of 0-2
- Beat Beastcoast 0-1
- Lose at T1 0-2
The victory in bo1 roulette against Beastcoast is an accident that saved Alliance from being a team in the TOP-16.
Alliance heroes
Most Picked Alliance Heroes: Snapfire (9 matches, 33% win), Sand King (8 matches, 50% win), Lina (6 matches, 33% win).
Most successful Alliance heroes: Clinkz (2 matches, 100% win), Alchemist (1 match, 100% win), Wraith King (1 match, 100% win).
History of personal confrontations
In official matches, Alliance did not play with Tundra Esports in the new roster.
Match outcome
I do not completely believe in this Alliance roster and I think we will not see in the TOP-4 this season. This should be easy for Tundra.
Outcome: 2-0 Tundra.
