So we got to the decisive confrontation before the start of the almost month-long break before TI10. The OGA Dota PIT Invitaional ends today.
We hope it will end on a positive note, and Team Spirit and PSG.LGD will give us a bright show. There are prerequisites for this.
Will it be so or not - we will find out about 12-13 hours later, but for now we are figuring out who is more worthy of the title of OGA Dota PIT Invitational champions.
PSG.LGD Form
PSG.LGD will come up as the nominal favorite for this fight. I think there are no questions with this.
PSG.LGD have been showing strong Dota all season and they do not stop showing it to this day. Yes, the team has roughnesses, but no one has the right to demand from them the maximum collected game.
Obviously, PSG.LGD are focusing their attention on preparing for The International, however, they play very brightly at tournaments outside the DPC ecosystem. We saw it at ESL One Fall 2021, we see it at the OGA DOTA PIT Invitational.
PSG.LGD latest matches results
- Victory over Virtus.pro with a score of 2-1
- Lose at Tundra Esports 2-3
- Defeat Undying 2-1
- Win over T1 2-1
- Beat Tundra Esports 2-0
PSG.LGD look much more confident at this tournament than at ESL One Fall 2021. They experiment a lot less and play to win.
Heroes PSG.LGD
Most played PSG.LGD heroes in patch 7.30: Clinkz (9 matches, 77% wins), Pangolier (9 matches, 55% wins), Leshrac (7 matches, 85% wins).
The most successful PSG.LGD heroes: Bane (5 matches, 100% win), Vengefull Spirit (5 matches, 100% win), Sven (4 matches, 100% win).
Team Spirit uniform
On the other side of the barricades, Team Spirit will perform, which in this match got the status of an outsider. This is also understandable and logical.
Team Spirit quickly turned from a "middle peasant" in the CIS region into a rather formidable rival. They played in the second Major of the season, where they managed to fight with the TOPs and even squeeze the cards from, it would seem, head and shoulders above their rivals. That is true after that Spirit sagged and almost stayed out of TI, but carried over.
At ESL Fall 2021, Team Spirit did not go, and therefore, before the start of the OGA Dota PIT Invitational, I had no special hopes for the "dragons". I am glad that they still managed to reach the final, and at the end of the tournament they completely changed and show a very decent game.
Team Spirit latest matches
- Lost at T1 with a score of 1-2

- Win over T1 2-0
- Beat Tundra 2-0
Spirit charged and ready for the finale. But whether they will be able to impose a fight on PSG.LGD is a question.
Spirit heroes
Most played heroes in patch 7.30: Phoenix (4 matches, 100% win), Tiny (4 matches, 50% win), Lion (4 matches, 50% win).
The most successful Spirit heroes in patch 7.30: Phoenix (4 matches, 100% win), Terrorblade (3 matches, 100% win), Winter Wyvern (2 matches, 100% win).
Personal meeting history
Previously, the teams played each other twice during the season. Once the match ended in a draw, and the second match was won by PSG.LGD.
Exodus
As cool as Spirit looked in the last days of the tournament, I don't see how they will beat PSG.LGD. Nobody cancels a scenario similar to ESL One Fall 2021, but it seems to me this time PSG.LGD will press it.
Result: victory for PSG.LGD.
