The second group stage of DreamLeague Season 22 is heating up. February's top calibre Dota 2 is heating up and we are witnessing it.

In the first season of the regional league BB Team took the top 1, very confidently running over their main opponents Spirit and HR. However, the success was quickly overshadowed by their performance at Lima Major 2023, where BB failed to make it out of the group.
A few inconclusive events later, BB Team began play in the second division of the DPC. This time the situation changed dramatically, from top 1 to top 3, but on the international stage everything was stable: another failure to get out of the group at the Major e.
The third season of DPC was held under the slogan "it's time to get back", but somehow it didn't work out, something didn't go well and in the end - TOP-2. Again, kind of significant, but if we compare Western and Eastern Europe, TOP-2 in the first case is much more prestigious than BB's achievement.

BB Team's moment of glory was DreamLeague Season 20. Having got to the tournament quite by chance (they replaced Execration), the Eastern European residents managed to make it to the grand final of the tournament, where they beat Gladiators, but eventually lost with the score 2-3.
After a solid group stage at The Bali Major 2023 with a 4-2-2 from BB, Eastern European Resident made it to the top set of play-offs. There the team outplayed Tundra Esports, but due to a tournament rules violation that result was cancelled. As a result, Bali Major 2023 ended for BB Team in the top 12.
After the last Major tournament of the season BB Team attended a number of other events. Among them is the Riyadh Masters 2023. At the biggest commercial tournament of the season, BB Team made it to the top 6, which is pretty good.
In addition to the Riyadh Masters 2023 BB Team also made an appearance at the BB Dacha. The tournament from the main sponsor BB Club finished without having started: BB Team failed to get out of the group and as a result finished in the top 8.
In the group stage of DreamLeague Season 21 BB Team played in Group B. They managed to take the 2nd place, passing only Team Spirit.
BB visited The International 2023. Then the team managed to reach the top 6, but they were knocked out of the tournament by Azure Ray.
At ESL Kuala Lumpur 2023 BB played the group stage neutrally, playing all matches in a draw. This allowed them to advance to the play-offs, where BB looked much better than they did in the group: 2-0 against Tundra Esports and 2-0 against G2.IG. However, BB Team went on to face Team Liquid and ended up in the top 4. Next BB Team played at BB Dacha Dubai 2024, where they reached the Top 3.
At the end of the first day of games at DreamLeague Season 22 BB Team took the first place in their group. They won against GG and played a draw with Vp. Further the situation for BB was not worse: on the second day they closed Azure Ray with the score 2-0. Despite two draws on the third day it didn't prevent them from qualifying for the play-offs of the tournament.

The most used BB Team character remains Storm Spirit (5 matches, 60% wins). The team also plays with Primal Beast and Pugna at position 4, and both heroes have 4 matches and 100% wins each. In spades was Enchantress (4 matches, 25% wins), Beastmaster (4 games, 0% wins).
OG Form.
We continue our breakdown of the bout with an analysis of OG's match form. They will play the number two side in this match, with odds to win at around 2.7.
At DPC 2023: WEU Division 1 Tour 1 OG failed to guarantee themselves a top-4 finish and as a consequence missed out on The Lima Major 2023. Things seemed to pick up during the second round of DPC 2023: WEU Division 1. Then OG made a strong-willed comeback and made it to the Top 4 after tiebreaks.
At the Berlin Major, the team played with two stand-ins and made it to the top 6, but it seems that those stand-ins were the secret to their success. After returning to regular season matches with a full roster, OG looked critically bad, but at the last moment they improved.
At DPC 2023: WEU Tour 3, OG Long Team went down to the wire, but managed to keep their place in the top division by finishing in the top 5 in the third round of the professional season. By the way, at the last DreamLeague S19 OG also took 5th place and this is an indicator, but it is unlikely to be repeated in the new season.

After failing to qualify for the year's biggest tournament, OG finished in the top 4 at DL Season 21 and ESL One Kuala Lumpur 2023 Western Europe Closed Qualifier.
2024 started the year with a run at BB Dacha 2024 Dubai and a top-2 finish at DreamLeague Season 22 Qualifiers. Then they finished 2nd place at ESL One Birmingham 2024: WEU Qualifiers and Top 12 at BB Dacha Dubai 2024.
OG went through the first day of DL S22 very well. The team dryly shut down G2.IG and drew with Falcons. The second day was worse than the first: a loss to BB and a draw with GG. On the third day played two draws: against Vp and Azure Ray. On the last day we played a draw with Heroic.
We couldn't get to the next stage directly and had to play tiebreaker. There OG showed their class and beat GG and Vp in turn.

In this match I expect OG to struggle, but BB will win. They have done it twice already during the season and directly at DreamLeague Season 22 and will do it again.

BB Team - complete dominance in group "A", they found a meta for themselves with conditional Morphling for Nightfall and Mirana/Undying from TORONTOTOKYO. 3 wins, 4 draws - 10 cards won, the guys are doing well, especially online they always perform well. Will the dominance continue or will they relax, that's the main question. I'm not a BB fan, they play randomly out of happiness, but the distance shows stability. This is just the beginning of Bo3 format and the draws that were in the group will be a different outcome. Good gpk plays, some Huskar added to the pool, yes they are generally cool, but we need to see how it goes further.
OG - the style of play of this team has always impressed me, it all comes from Ceb. The hardest way the team has travelled, after the first group stage it was there in the replay with Gaimin Gladiators and Virtus.pro, managed to win both of these teams. Surprisingly, it was even easier with Gladiators than with Virtus.pro. Let me remind you that the team is still playing with a new kerry - Timado, he joined quite well and added new heroes to the team like some Arc Warden, Gyrocopter, played on Naga Siren and Yuragi, but not that stable. In general like the way the guys play, they can go far, but I think the pool on Bo3 will not always be enough.

Obviously BB Team should be the favourites, but OG should never be discounted. The team is definitely morale boosted after the replay and it's very dangerous. Both teams are trying to play actively, I think in all maps there will be Total More on kills; somewhere around 46-50+. OG will try to play tempo and smother to mid-game, and BB can answer already on the lines, as they always showed themselves cool on laning.
A spectacular rink could be, bookmakers have little faith in OG, perhaps this should be taken advantage of. The head-to-head meeting ended in favour of BB, but 2.8 on OG looks interesting.
