There is not much time left before the main event of the entire TI 2022 discipline, but for now we continue to watch small tournaments in different regions. Along with D2CL, Season 12 of the BTS Pro Series in Southeast Asia kicks off with teams vying for a $75,000 prize pool, and today we're talking about the first match. The opening meeting will be held between Fnatic and TNC Predator in a bo2 format. Previously, the teams met each other 45 times, in 25 matches the “Orange” won, in 19 THC, and 1 match ended in a draw.
Fnatic form
The notorious team has already qualified for the upcoming The International 2022, but still decided to participate in the tier-2 tournament. The team performed well over the past season, gaining a foothold in the first division in three rounds of DPC SEA 2021/2022. However, the situation is not so rosy at big tournaments, the past PGL Arlington Major 2022 ended for the team in 9-12th place, and ESL One Stockholm 2022 7-8. Orange performed well only at ESL One Malaysia 2022, where they finished their tournament path in 4th place.

YoungGod and former captain Febby leave the team, and former Entity member Krish is invited in their place, as well as mavis, who previously played for Polaris Esports. On the one hand, the outcome is obvious, Orange are the clear favorites of the match, performing well during the season, and thanks to which they managed to qualify for the TI World Championship 2022. TNC, in turn, is now extremely weak, the team can hardly cope even with tier-2 teams, and cannot qualify to any major tournament. On top of that, Fnatic play together consistently, while TNC's roster has changed a lot in recent months. On the other hand, the Oranges are not serious about such a small tournament, and at bo2 TNC may well snatch the victory. But the favorites of the match for me are the first, so I will assume their victory.
